About Me
Hi there. I'm Sarah. I guess you're here because you want to get a feel for the human behind all of this. Besides my work, I also cook, ride my bicycle around Copenhagen, dance as much as I can, and exist in the world as a body just like you.
I love people. Not all the time of course. But mostly I enjoy being around them. I tend to care about them, and to be curious about them. I've also spent a good portion of my life feeling into what it means to be a body. Especially through my training as an Alexander Technique teacher, a yoga teacher and as a dancer. I've learned to relate to other people and other bodies through touch and movement as well.
This way of using my hands and body to listen - that I (for now) am calling "Listening Touch" - has opened up so much richness in my life. It sounds fancy but it's really just very human. It's kind of like a magic hiding in plain sight. It means listening to and listening with your body. And it matters to me to share it with as many people as I can.
By now I've spent countless hours touching and moving with other bodies - with other people. And I can see how much of a difference it makes. I work with people who are touched all the time, and who work professionally with moving their bodies. I work with people who are used to having their words listened to, but their bodies not so much. And I work with people who haven't been touched in years.
Being listened to as a body can be a new experience if you're not used to it. And should I, some stranger you found on the internet, be the person to do that? I don't know. Maybe. I think Listening Touch can make a difference in your life. I can't promise you that it'll be a life changing radical shift. But I think I can promise you that you'll enjoy it and that it will be meaningful to you.
